Following the recent opening of our new premises in Worcester Park we held a dedication service for the branch’s two new chapels of rest on Wednesday 18th November.
The service was led by the Reverend Kevin Scott of St. John the Baptist Church, Old Malden. The premises were blessed by Reverend Scott, Father Kevan Hayden from St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, Worcester Park, the Reverend Steph Nadarajah and the Reverend Paul Timmis from Christ Church with St. Philip, Worcester Park and the Reverend Peter Flint from the United Reformed Church, New Malden. The directors and staff of WA Truelove & Son Ltd were delighted to welcome all of them to the new chapels of rest and to attend the dedication service.
Worcester Park is our newest branch, having opened on 22nd June 2015 and having been officially opened on 30th October. It is run by Sarah Love, who is a qualified funeral arranger, having been awarded her Certificate in Funeral Arranging and Administration (Cert.FAA) by the London Association of Funeral Directors. Sarah has been with WA Truelove & Son Ltd since April 2014, and served as a Relief Manager until June 2015, when she was promoted to run this new branch. Sarah is quite new to the funeral industry, having previously been a teaching assistant for many years at a primary school in Raynes Park. When her father died she decided that she wanted to work in the funeral profession so that she could help the loved ones of people who had passed away.
You can find our newest branch next door to Tesco at 350-352 Malden Road, Worcester Park, KT4 7NW. The triple fronted shop has been converted into a comfortable funeral home with full facilities including air conditioning and client parking at the rear of the property.
The new Worcester Park branch is just one of the sixteen branches that WA Truelove & Son Ltd has in the local area. For more information about WA Truelove & Son Ltd and our funeral services available, please call us on
